Silverstream Handicap, of 200 soys; seven furlongs.—Braid, 9.5, 1; Glenshine, 9.2, 2; Mirza, 8.12, 3. Scratched: Black Mountain. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 31 3-ssec.
Provincial Handicap, of 350 soys,; one mile and a-quarter.—Sarniel, 7.5, 1; Burrangong, 7.9, 2; Eleus, 8.12, 3. Scratched —Caverock. Won by a length and a-quarter. Time, 2min 12 2-ssec.
Otago Hurdles, of 500 soys; two miles. —,'leannot, 10.10, 1; Naupata, 11.9, 2; Calnia, 9.9, 3. All started. Won by half a. length. Time, 3min 54 4-ssoc.
Waironga Handicap, of 250 soys; six furlongs.—Redshire, 7.10, 1; Borodino, 7.2, 2; Kilmeedy, 7.3, 3. Scratched : Belair, Killeney Won by a nose. Time, lmin 16 l-ssec.
Wingatui Steeplechase, of 400 soys; two and a-half miles. —Silverspire, 11.6, 1; Kaupokonui, 11.9, 2; Palladio, 12.1, 3. Scratched : Morecambe. Won by four lengths. Time, smin 42sec.
