"DIGGERS IN BLIGHTY."
The films to 'be shown at the Founders' Day meeting in the Town Hall to-morrow night should prove of exceptional interest to all returned mcii. The pictures of Sliiig will revive memories of the hard gruelling in,the "bull ring," and of the smartly executed but cordially detested " Piccadilly Stunt," which ■rounded off each battalion's imperfect ■day. The educational scheme at Hornchurch will be illustrated iv a striking series of films. Two/pictures of special interest are the " Hinkums " in B'rocton, and the famous Walton-on-Tliam.es. These pictures will commence sharp at 7.30, and immediately following their projection addresses will be delivered by Sir James Allen and General Richardson. Occasion will also be taken of extending a. welcome to Mr. J. L. Hay, 0.8. E., who shortly takes up the general secretaryship of the Wellington V.M.C.A. Miss Eileen Driscoll, Wellington's leading mezzo-soprano, will be the soloist, and will sing "When You Come Home." Mr. George Holloway will play the accompaniments.
