LICENSING POLL

The only returns now outstanding in the licensing poll are three official recounts in civil electorates, the votes from the transport Devon, now at Lyttelton, and the votes of the Samoan Garrison. The civil returns will probably show only very small alterations. The Devon votes, which are less than 20, should be made known in a day or two; and tho Samoan polling, estimated at not more than 150 votes, will probably be announced about the middle of June.
