The orders outline the speed, equipment, route, and crew of the seaplanes, the manner in which the course was to be patrolled by war vessels, the wireless arrangements, the place of landing in the Azores, etc. The orders state that after arrival at Azores; the seaplanes were to take in fuel.quickly, and remain not more than a night, then start for Lisbon (900 miles), and thence, after a night's stay, fly to Plymouth, England miles).
