WILD. WOMEN SUFFRAGETTES DO MORE DAMAGE
CLUB WINDOWS GMASHEO TELEGRAPH WIRES CUT. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received February 11, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 10th February. The suffragettes smashed windows in the Reform, Carltoni Junior Carlton, Qt' ford, and Cambridge Clubs, and Prince Christian's House. The missiles were lead and fireclay balls. One of the offenders was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, and two fined, the alternative in the latter cases being fixed at ten days' imprisonment. Suifragettes cut the Glasgow to London telegraph wires, and stockbrokers on Saturday last were, in consequence, unable to telegraph stock market news. The Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh has been closed owing to a suffragette smashing a case.
