LADIES' SEAGULL AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB
The Ladies'. Seagull Amateur Swimming Club held two club events last evening :— (1) 50yds breast-stroke handicap race which resulted in a win for Miss Mona Butler (20sec), with Miss Tottie Daubney (12sec), 2, and Miss B. Gibbs (scr), 3. Also started: Misses V. Somes, M. Nolan, G. Hayes, and M. Daubney. It was a- good race, each competitor winning from the other by a touch. (2) A life-6aving competition was also got off. This resulted in a win for Miss B. Gibbs, with Miss M, Butler 2nd, and Miss M. Daubney 3rd. Also com' peted: Misses M. Nolan and T. Daub» ney. The following is the order the members are in for the Platts-Mills points trophy:— Miss T. Daubney 16, Miss M, Daubpey 14, Miss 0. Arthur 11, Miss M. Butler 9, Miss B. Gibbd 5, Miss M. Nolan 4, Miss V. Somes 2, and Miss G. Hayes 1.
