' Mr. King O'Malley, Minister for Home AffaiTß, has received a letter from Mr. Roosevelt, stating that nothing would give him greater pleasure than to visit Australia. He cannot imagine any American seriously interested in the affaire, of his country and the world who would not feel himself fortunate in having a chance to visit their great Commonwealth. Personally he had a very great admiration for the Australian tteopie. A resident in Sydney, while in America, negotiated with Mr. Roosevelt for a lecturing tour in Australia After consideration, Mr. RoosevelF'replied that the time required was an insuperable obstacle.
