WEDNESDAY GAMES Yesterday afternoon the Wednesday cricketers concluded the fourth round of their competition when some good scores wero put up. Harris, bowling for Union, in the match against Oriental, did good work, and with the help of Haines, all the latter team's men were sent out for an average of two runs apiece. Finally Union won by 147 runs. Rivals beat Artillery easily by an innings and 30 runs. In their first inmnp the winning side made 279 to Artillery's 142. Artillery only made 107 in their second essay. For V.M.C.A. Blamires made fifteen over his century when he was caught by Read. Scores were as follow :-—

Bowling Analysis.— -Burke took three .wicketß^for 37 runsj Dr. M'Evedy, two for 35 ; Dr. Tolhiirst, two for 20 ; Kinvig, two for 20; Davis, one for 7. Second Innings.

Bowling Analysis.— Mills took six Wickets for 63 runs ; Dumbleton, three for 63; Dempsey, one for 65; Cording, .none for 22; Castle, none for 23. JUNIOR. In the United-Union match, the former team made 71 in the first innings and 88 in the second. Union made 129 and 141. the latter score for nine wickets. Red Cross, playing Chemists, made 85 in their first essay and 232 in their second, to 46 and 53 of the other side. Oriental' made 134 against Artillery's 70, and in the second innings 120 for seven wickets, to- 21.
