The' final game in the club championship singles was won yesterday by A. Claritlge, who has gone through the competition without a loss. _ Martin was runner-up. This is Claridge's first year as a senior player; he won the junior singles last year. DIAMOND BUCKLES. A match for the Diamond Buckles was playe,d yesterday afternoon between Vosseller and Norwood, the holders, of the Victoria Club, and Hildreth and Thompson, of the Wellington Club. The holdels retained the trophies by 22 to 11. WELLINGTON CLUB. On the Wellington green yesterday evening A. Wylie and Waddell defeated J. W., Brown and BelL.iu ..the final match for the doubles competition.
