NAPIER WOOL SALE
(B* TfiiiEGßAPtt— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NAPIER, 4th February. . The third and last wool sale of the season, under tho auspices of the Napier Wpolbrokers' Association, was held today. There was a representative attehdance of buyers, and 7325 bales were offered, against 3725 for the corresponding sale last , year. The bulk of the .catalogue a comprised dingy seedy backcountry clips, and lambs' wool, not many bright, well-conditioned lots being submitted. As 'compared with the January sale OL this year, to-day's prices showed an improvement of a farthing for medium fleece wools, and a farthing to a.halfpenhv ih coarse. Lairibs sold at par, the highest price being 12Jd. No American sorts were offered in fleece wool. Appended is the range of prices, the figures for the i corresponding sale of last year being given in parentheses: — Medium halfbred, 9d to 9|d (B£d to lOid) j fitte crossbred 10id to lid (9d to 9|a): medium crossbred, 9id to lid $d to 9fd i coarse crossbred, 9d to lOd (7d to B£d)j inferior crossbred, 8d to 9d (6ld .to fd); pieces, 6d to 9d (5d to 7|d); bellies. 6d to 8d (5d to 61d) ; locks, 4id to si"d (3d to 4£d); lambs,. 7d to I2id (8d to 10id). *
