At a meeting of the Festival of Empire Sports Committee, Lord Desborough presiding, the following dates were arranged for athletic events : — June 24th. — 100 yds, quarter-mile, mile running, and hurdles. June 29th. — Boxing and wrestling. July let. — 100 yds and mile swimming:. •The various e-.'-ents will be under the control of their respective governing associations.
