AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES
Messrs. Harcourt and Co. will sell by public auction to-morrow, at their rooms, 195, Lambton-quay, at 2.30 p.m., acting under conduct of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, part of lot 18 on deposited plan 473, and part of section 1, block 15, Polhill Gully Native Reserve, City of Wellington, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, volume 130, folio 246, together with an eight-roomed dwelling erected thereon, with conveniences. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. announce in our auction columns that tomorrow, at their rooms, at 3 p.m., under instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, they are submitting a residential property at Rata-road, Hataitai. This comprises freehold land with an area of • 14.7 perches, part section 3, Evans Bay district, with a dwelling of five rooms and conveniences thereon. On Wednesday, at 11 o'clock, Messrs. A.. L. Wilson and Co. will hold a sale of timber at the -railway siding, Waikanae, on account of Messrs. C. and A. Odlin. Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald, Ltd., will hold an auction sale of household furnishings on the premises, No. 90, Pirie-street; to-morrow, commencing at 1.30 o'clock. The catalogue comprises chesterfield lounge and easy chair, Wilton pile caTpet square, and upright grand piano. On Wednesday, commencing at 1.30, they will hold a sale in their rooms, of household furnishings, quaint oak sideboard, plain green chesterfield lounge and two divan chairs, etc., etc., also eleven pedigree Irish setter dogs; and on Thursday, commencing at Ti o'clock, they will hold an unreserved auction sale of the whole of the stock-in-trade of the Wellington Furnishing Company, on the premises, 57, Vivianstreet.
