Replying to a deputation of women's societies protesting to the Home Office against the proposed order to peimit dressmakers to extend their hours of work ih May and June in view of the Coronation, Mr. C. F. G. Ma6terman .(Parliamentary Under-Secreba.ry) stated that Queen Mary had made special ard'angements to pre\eut overtime being worked on her dresses. Mr. Masterman 6aad lie wished everyone would be similarly considerate, and promi&ed to reconsider the order. '
