[BI TELEGRAPH — KRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 20th' April. ' The Australasian draughts championship tournament was continued to-day. In the third round, Brodie met Hilliker. The two first games were d"rawn, the third was won by Brodie, and the fourth was drawn. Hilliker now drops into the losers' c^jss. Mid Brodie and Penman are left, to light out the final of the winners' round. So tar Brodie has played twenty games in tlie championship. In tho losers' class, second round, Egan beat Morris, the scores being Egan one win and five draws. Boreham defeated Lucas by two games to one, whh ope draw. In the handicap tournament, eij;ht competitors hn.ve pla-yed the full number of games (22). while Bruce, Carswell, Keonan, and Matheson have ■two games each to play.
