The return of the receipts from the city trams for the week ending Sunday last shows an increase of £134 Is Id over the corresponding week of the previous year. The largest amount collected wae on Easter Saturday, when the fares totalled £472 15s 9d. *The following is a statement, of the week, with a comparison for the same period last year: — 1910. 1911. On the Sunday specials 532 adults and 30 children travelled — 78 on the 10 p.m. Lyall Bay ' car, 75 on the 9.50 p.m. from Constable-street, and 91 on the 10 p.m. from Newtown.
