Here Pride of Murillo took charge, with Wilari and Borrosov as her nearest attendants. Borrosov joined the leader in the straight, but Posadas, gradually improving his position, came through at the distance and won by two lengths, Wilari beating Borrosov by three lengths. From a good start Call Boy, Apple Pie, and Eric were the first to show out. At the straight Call Boy was leading from Mindful, Miss Corelli, and Apple Pie, with The Lad last. Before reaching the mile post, however, Adgio had taken charge from Herova, followed by Apple Pie, Flavinius^ Eric,. Call Boy, and Blue Gem. Adgio led past the six furlong post, Apple Pie being his nearest neighbour: then came Flavinius, Miss Corelli, and Herova. Reaching the four furlong mark Moorilla and Blue Gem were together, in the lead, followed by Flavinius, Adgio, Mindful, Pa-tronatus, and Crown Derby. Coming into the straight Moorilla landed clear of Eric^ who was well ahead of Flavinius, with Blue Gem and Mindful going strong. Moorilla woa by three lengths, five lengths separating second and third. Then came Mil, Mindful, Crown Derby, Blue Gem, and Patronatua, with Call Boy last. Time, 3min 36£ sec. First Steeplechase, about two miles and a half.— No Trouble, 9.12, 1 ; Boisdale, IL4. 2; Confederate, IL7. 3. Four started. Won by three lengths. Time. smin 40sec.
