TENDERS ACCEPTED.
The tender of Messrs Mackerras and Hazlett, Ltd., Dunedin, has been accepted by the Railways Department for supply of varnish. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., Wellington, are the successful tenderers (at £67 3s 6d per ton) for the supply of 135 tons of copper wire to the Post and Telegraph Department, and Messrs. Mason, Struthers and Co., Ltd., Christchurch,- were the successful tenderers for the supply of 150 tons of galvanised iron wire — 50 tons 2001b per mile, £11 10s 6d per ton; 100 tons 4001b ncr mile, £11 per ton.
