What will be the extra cost to the council if the demands of these unions aro agreed to— (a) the tramway men's claims, (by the general labourers' claims? 3. Where is the money to come from to pay the increased cost? Will it be from increased rates or increased tram f are:; ? 4. Is there_ any place where tramway men are receiving higher wages or working under better conditions than in Wellington ? Avhen these questions' are answered thera may be a few more pertinent ones to ask. — I am, etc., ELECTOR. I Wellington, 11th April, 1911.
