KING'S FESTIVAL SPORTS.

In connection with the King's Festival Sports, competitors are asked to note that entries for tug-of-war, cycling, high jump, and running events close on' Monday evening next with Mi-. J. E. Fitzgerald, LambU>n-quay 3 or with the secretary, 68, Wallace-street. The following courses have been fixed for the Marathon races : Tuesday, 18th April.— From inside Town Hall to Island Bay tram terminus and back, finishing with four laps in the hall; Tuesday 25th April.— From Town Hall to Patent Slip and return, distance about 7 miles.
