Any person reading the article would imagine Mr Mills had supplied the de. sign to the meeting, and had given in the estimate as to {he cost. Mr >keet called upon me and asked for an estimate for about ten lamps. I agreed to supply them at £10 each, and furnished him with the design tor them, to remedy the defect of the old style of lamp, which would be quite useless here during high winds. I care^ery litMe about the order, but it is the shabby way in which things' ii,re done —giving me the trouble and letting another person receive the credit. I am, &c, W. F.
