The following additional English item 8 are taken from Mauritius papers : — The Prince Joseph Bonaparte has died, aged forty-two. There had been an immense fire at Constantinople, in which 2000 houses were destroyed, and the fire was still raging at latest dates. Vienna papers state that Lord Napier and M. JBismark have signed a navigation treaty between England and Prussia at Gasteiti. The Fenian conspiracy has wide spread combinations over Ireland. Their oath is less than an oath of allegiance to the conspiracy an oath of non-allegiance to the Queen. The main object contemplated in this lerocious oath is to destroy the Queen and the Parliament, and the Ministers, and everybody else that stand 9 between Ireland and the Irish. To denounce the highest lady in the realm to the worst punishment of eternity is a common form or'oojurgation on the lips of a Fenian ; and he who can crowd into the shortest possible compass of words the longest possible catalogue of horrors to accumulate upon the heads of the enemy, is the king of the company. Napoleon has consented to stand godlather for the King of Portugal's sod, on the 26th September. There has been a serious accident on the London and Wolverhampton Eailway, when many persons were injured. Napoleon was to meet the King and Queen of Spain on the 9th September, at St. Sebastian. Cholera has broken out at Gibraltar, Carthagena, Derriana, and Ancona. The Industrial Exhibition at Lisbon was to open on the 18th September.
