The Bluff. 2lst November. The Tararua has arrived. No sign' of the English mail. Sydney, 14th November. .Little business is doing owing to the non-nrrival of the mail. The Government propose giving the country districts power to construct public works by levying a rate on residents. The Sunnysido's cargo of breadstuff's was oifered nt auction ; there were uo buyers, and the whole was withdrawn. The Mjidgee mail was robbed on Saturday. The New Zealand Government have decided to continue the mail contract from Sydney to their ports till the end of next June. Adelaide, 13th November. The report of the Northern Commis* sioners discloses a far worse state of things in the north than was expected. The Bank of Adelaide Bill has passed the Assembly. A meeting of the shareholders of the iErated Bread Company has been held to express dissatisfaction at their treatment by the directors. The wheat and flour market it very dull.
