The Queen's health is much improved since she has entertained the King of Gondor's offer of marriage. In anticipation of this event, the African sovereign has conferred his favourite order of the " Spiked Collars and Chains" upon the British Consul. Great rejoicings, in consequence, amongst the Cameron Clan. The Atlantic cable has been cut through by a shot from a Dutch frigate, who mistook it for the sea serpent. The end was recovered and secured to a buoy made of New Zealand Debentures, which are now known to float better than any other security. The (ireat Eastern was then towed back to Ireland by a chance passing balloon.
