The s.s. Wong i Wonga, Captain Seymour, arrived in port to-day from Southern ports, bhe brings no hews of importance. This morning at the Resident Magistrate's Court, before C. D. R. Ward, Esq., R.M. Elizabeth Wilcox, Larabton Quay, was cha -god with having on the 9th inst allowed her chimney to take fire to the danger of neighbouring property, and fined ss. Amos Howe, for allowing a ferocious dog to be at large was fined 10s. C. W. Schultze sued J. Hawke for £25 6s lOd, for goods delivered. The amount with costs was paid into court.
