Fire in George-Street. Two private houses burned down. C. B. Cargill is appointed to preside at the election of Monday next. James Douglas, the late manager of the Bank of New South Wales here, is appointed the London Manager of the Colonial Bank, Victoria. A Bazar is proposed to be held by the ladies of the congregations, to provide a ' i fund for building St. Paul's and All Saint Churches.
