DEATH OF CAPTAIN CALVERT, OF WAIROA.
The following telegram was received at our office at 7*25 last evening, from our correspondent at Papakura. There is no explanation of the unfortunate event, whether accidental or not : — " Captain Calvert, Wairoa, has shot himself. He has just expired. Full account in to-morrow's letter."
