THE PEACE NEGOTIATIONS. FROM MR. GEORGE GRAHAM. (FROM THE NEW ZEALANDER, JULY 4.) 2nd July.
A messenger lias arrived from Rewi, stating that Rewi is on his way down from Molcau. and that he will probably meet Mr. Graham on Thursday at Ilangitiki or Kopua. There is great difficulty in crossing the rivers. It is rumored among the natives that troops were seen near Mokau. 3rd July. lam detained by floods. The Maoris cannot get down to meet me. I expect Tamati Ngapora, the King, and Rewi, this week at Kopua. All bids fair for peace.
