By the Storm Bird we learn that the Weraroa pah was to be attacked this morning by the troops under

Colonel Waddy and Major Yon Tcmpsky. A rumour, however, reached town that the rebel natives had surrendered ; such, however, was not the case when the Storm Bird left Wanganui yesterday.
