AMERICA'S BRITISH RACE.
General Dawes, the American Ambassador to England, has been reminding the people - there that England is much more represented in America that most of us recognise. His figures are indeed astonishing. The United States holds 123 million i people, and sixty in every hundred of those are of British descent. "There are thus in my country," says General Dawes, "at least twenty to thirty million more people of British descent than live in the Brtish Isles."
