WAIHORA CJLUB.
The fifth annual meeting: of the Waihora Football Club was held 111 the Motukarara Hall on Monday night last, Mr B. Bowley presiding .The annual report stated that the club had had a successful year, being placed third in the EJlesmere Sub-union's senior competition, while the A team had won the seven-a-side competition without a point against them. Three members gained representative honours, namely, C. Gray, I: C Gebbie, and W. C, Miller; and I. C. Gebbie was included in" the South Island poun'try Touring* Team.
The balance sheet showed the expenditure to have been £79 13s Hid,, and-the-receipts £79 17s lid, leaving a credit balance of 3s ll|cl It'was decided'to enter a senior team in the Ellesmere competition Officers were elected as follows • Patron, J. O. C, Gebbie; president, Mr J. Rennie; vice-presidents, Messrs W- F. Parkinson;-W. A^ Gray, F. Coop, F. Miller, A. S. Duncan, B. Whittam, B. Bowley, E, Hodgen, H. J. Harbison, M. Thomas, A.
