Sale of Friesians
Yesterday the National Mort : gage and Agency Co. held a sale of purebred Friesian cattle at the Leeston saleyards on behalf of Mr R. M. Taiaroa > (Taumutu). Bidding was not very brisk at auction, but all unsold lots were subsequently disposed of privately The sales were:— Cow, Colantha Lass, of Groteholme, 127 gs, H. R. Green (Pal- * merston North.)' Cow, Friesian Park Butter Girl, 60 gs, J. Aldridge (Dunsandel). Cow, Rose of Awhitu, 35 gs, H. A. Miller (Russell's Flat). - Cow, Lady Rosebud of Awhitu, 35 gs, King Bros. (Springfield). Heifer calf, Lanthis of Awhitu. 27-| gs, T. A. Stewart (Upper Riccarton). Heifer calf, Roseleaf of Awhitu 22 \ gs, King Bros. - ' Heifer calf, Rosegirl of Awhitu •22i gs, H. Miller.
