• HOUSE OF REPJRhISENT ATIVES. Friday, July 24, On Friday the debate pn the Land Bill occupied all afternoon and all night. The Opposition made a vL-orous effort to adjourn the debate. The Government declared this was an attempt to stone Walli The reporters were excluded, and at an early hour on-Satnrday t.be second reading was carried by 29 to 10. The scene was stormy m the extreme and the Government taotics are widely disapproved of.
