The entertainment was opened by Mr T. Gates, of Southbridge, who played from memory a magnificent solo oa th« Cornish Organ which had been lent by the vestry. Mr Bilbury of Dunsandel contributed several songa that fairly brought down the house. This gentleman is quite a host m himself. Mr J. Ymtes sang m his usual finished style and fully maintained his reputation as being a vocalist of far above average merit. The Rev! E. Whitehouse played two violin so'os m his usual manner. Songs were also sung by Messrs Weavers, Cooper, Mclnman and Tipler. The accompaniments were played by Miss Spring and Mr Gatei and left nothing to be desired. At the close of the entertainment, the Revd E. Whitehouie proposed votes of thanks to all those who had taken part m the concert, to Mrs Weavers for the use of her piano and to the vestry for the loan of Church Organ, The Concert was brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem.
