MEETING OF RATEPAYERS.
A gpecial meeting of ratepayers of the Ellesmere Road Board district was held m the Board's office on Wednesday last Mr G. C. Waby, Chairman of the Road Board presidedThe Chairman read the advertisement convening the meeting. , Mr Durant moved—" That this pnblic meeting approves the aotion of the Iload Board m closing that portion of ForByth's road running through R.S. 11118 (coloured green), and exchanging for and opening m lieu thereof another piece of l»nd, part of R.S. 11118, for a road •m direct continuation of Forsyth's m a straight line to connect with road on Schntlle'a creek (coloured pink), is shown and deline»!eJ on Plan approved by the Chief Surveyor, and laid before the meeting." The resolution was seconded by Mr McLachlan and carried. The meeting then terminated.
