High Prices for New Zealand Butter.
A cablegram from London, dated January 9th, says :— By tho R.M.S. Coptic a quantity of butter, shipped by the Naw Zealand Dairy Association, was received. This realised from 1123 to 115* per cwt, but a few choice kegs brought ÜB<. A very satisfactory feature m the above caDle message is the statemsnt as to the e;ood prices obtained for New Zealaud butter. Mr Henry Reynolds, who recently went Home m connection with the dairy industry, and has baea visiting the Denmark dairies and butter factories, his con municuted some interesting information on the subject to ths London correspondent of tho Dunedin Evening Scar. Mr Reynolds states that he received m variable courtesy during his visit to Danmaric, and he was agreeably surprised to find that New Zealanders were tnu'ch inortH to the front m their Unowledjje of dairy farming than ho had been led to belidV.o. Ttie eauipltisof buttor which^Mj.Jfc^ynoid's had snnt to him from Now Z/jaland, the correspondent addts, havo. turned oat most satisfactory. The following are Mportn, on same :~'Tiie samplo paok^ges urn 10 hand, and are m very fine condition, cleaner and m more perfect ordor tluin any. Danish or Iridli I evar saw. Theqtiiiiicy .ia good, but for- flavour finest Danish or liish stand higher.'
