THE SOUDAN.
London, April 22. In the course of the debate on the vote of credit the Government announced that the portion of the vote to be expended in the Soudan was not intended to provide for further operations. It was also stated that the railway now in course of construction from Suakin would only be continued to a point necessary for the security of Suakin.
