Plana and specifications may be seen at the County Offices, Clyde, from the present date up till THURSDAY, the 15th JANUARY ; and at the Borough Council Offices, Roxburgh, from the 17th to the 26th of January, both dates inclusive. Forms of tender and schedule may also be obtained at both places, and contractors are here reminded that tenders are informal unless written on the forms provided. Tenders are to be addressed to the Chairman, accompanied by an endorsed cheque for 5 per cent, on the amount, and marked on the outside of the envelope “ Tender for Contract No. ” (as the case may be).
