ANNUAL LICENSING MEETINGS.

MANUHBRIKIA DISTRICT. The first meeting of the Committee for the above district was held in the Court House, Blacks, at noon on the sth inst. Present— Messrs Jones, Harrington, Barren, Fitzgerald, and Cottingham. Mr Jones was againuuauimously voted to the chair. The minutes of the .previous meeting having been read and confirmed, applications for renewals were heard and granted to 10 pm., as follows : -'John W. MTntosh, Blacks Hotel ; Martin Cavan, Shamrock Hotel ; John Pitches, bottle licensi. A renewal also of the aocomruo latio-i license for the Carriers’Arms, Ida Va!’ey, was granted to Josiah Dai ling! on at a feu of L 3, the licensee to maintain the foot-bridge over the Pooiburn Creek, near his premises. There being no other business, the Committee adjourned. .

The annual licensing meeting for the Dunstan district was held in the Court House. Clyde, on Monday, June 9th, 1884. '1 he following members of Comraitiee were in attendance :—Messrs A. A. Oliver, M . J. Macginnis, S. Welsford, A. Joss, and T. H Bell.

Mr Oliver was appointed Chairman, and the minutes of meetings of past year hj ying been read and confirmed, the following applications were considered :—Mrs George, Dunstan Hotel; Mr Dickie, Port Phillip Hotd, G, Murray, \incent County Hotel ; J. Parks, Hartley Arms Hotel; A. Moote, Junction Hotel, all of Clyde, general licenses up till II p.m. were granted. J.
