HOME AND FOREIGN. London, April 27. A nitro-glyconue factory has been discovered by the police at Northampton. Mr Parnell, who has returned to England, has cabled to the Irish Convention at Puiladelphia urging the delegates to adopt a prudent programme. Three Fenians named Kingston, Gibney. and Healy have been arrested at Dublin, charged on the evidence of an informer with conspiring to murder. Michael Fagan, the fourth of the Phoenix Park prisoners, has been found guilty and sentenced to death. April 28. The Queen has instituted an Order of the lloyal Hed Cross. The decorations of the i rder will be specially devoted to nurses of the wounded in action. Arrests are being made daily in Ireland of persons implicated in tbe recent conspiracies to murder. Evidence of the complicity oi the accused has been supplied to the police ny informers. The Irish Convention at Philadelphia have concluded their sittings, and adj mined indefinitely. Before adjourning a motion was adopted, denouncing English rule in Ireland ; urging the banding together of irishmen in America and Canada for the purpose of obtaining autonomy for Ireland by lawful means ; recommending the organisation of a National League ; and resolving to co-operate with Mr Parnell in his efforts to obtain redress of tbe Irish grievances. .News has been received here that serious duo aers have occur dat Port Said. James Fnzharris, another of the Phoenix Park prisoners, was brought up for trial at Dabbn, and the case is still proceeding. in the House of Commons Mr Trevelyan Chief Secretary for Ireland, stated that a widespread conspiracy to murder had been discovered in county Clare. The Executive hoped to be able to unmask the whole plot. Keet has been executed for the murder at Cork. Su ley, one of the crew belonging to the ship British Commerce, which was run down and sank in the Channel on Tuesday last, clung to the quantity of wreckage for several hours, and was rescued in a very exhausted condition. A letter addressed to Mr Forster, containing explosives, has been discovered by the Post Uthce officia s, who stopped the delivery of the letter.
