ALEXANDRA SPORTS.
As advertised, the annual gathering of the Alexandra Caledonian Society took place on New Year’s Day, but we are sorry to say were not so successful as on previous occasions, The different events were well contested, and afforded genera l satisfaction. Mr Lewis Cameron, of the Caledonian Hotel, had the booth, and catered to those present efficiently.
