NOTICE. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I have applied to the Waste Land Board to purchase 10 acres of land on Run 261, under the 28th Section of the Land Act, 18T7. Locality, Run 261 iu Tiger Hill District; area 10 acres. Boundaries—West, by Crown Lands; North East, by 640 acres pre-emptive on Run 261 ; South East, by a line being a production in a South Western direction of the South Eastern boundary of the said pre-emptive right for SIR FRANCIS DILLON BELL, Applicant. The next English and European Mail via ’Frisco will close at this office on Wednesday the 27th December at 2 p. m. W. HENEY, Postmaster. Clyde, December 20th, 1882. NOTICE. Owing to Monday next (Christmas Day) being a Post Office holiday, and in accordance with instructions from head office, Mails usually closing on that day will be closed on the Saturday previous at 9 p.rn. The mails arriving on that day will be sorted into private boxes, but no letters will be delivered at delivery window. Sunday hours will be observed in the private box lobbies, viz.. 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The Telegraph office, will not be open for the transmission of telegrams on the 25th. .notice does not affect the Naseivy mails, which will close as usual on ' Sunday night at 9 p.n. , W.
