Nominations for the Grand Stand, Flying, and Racing Club Handicaps must be received by the Secretary not later than 8 p.m on Tuesday the 26th December with colour, pedigree and other particulars. Wrights to be declared at 6 p.m., on Saturday, the 30th, for Grand Stand and Flying Handicaps. Acceptances to be sent in on or before 8 p.m. on night of general entry, Wednesday, 3rd January, 1883. Weights for the Racing Club Handicap to be declared on the evening of Thursday the 4th. Acceptances to be delivered to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on Friday the sth. Nominations for Maiden Plate and Trotting llace to be sent in not later than 8 p.m. on the night of general entry. Handicap for the Trotting Race to be declared on the evening of Thursday the 4ta. Acceptances for same to be delivered to tho Secretary -not later than 9 a.m. on Friday the sth. RULES AND REGULATIONS; Mares and geldings allowed 31bs. '■ No entries to be’received for-any of the above races except on this : cbiidition--That all disputes, claims,- and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards appointed to carry out the above programme. Their decision upon all points connected therewith shall be dual. Any Jockey riding except in tbe colours entered will bo fined £2. Five per cent, will lie deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. The Dunstan Jockey Club Rules will be strictly enforced,. Horses walking over will receive only 50 per cent, of the stakes. Any person entering a protest must deposit therewith £2, and should the same be deemed frivolous by the Stewards, the amount will be forfeited.
