THURSDAY, 28th DECEMBER, 1832. At Twelve o clock, IMPORTANT SALE OF THIRTEEN.AG".ICULTUBAL FARMS, LAKE WAK.VITPU DISTRICT. MESSRS F. DANIEL & Co. are in strncted by the Proprietors, M essrs U. Hallenstein & Arndt, to submit by Auction, on the Ground, Thurlljy Domain on the above date, the who'e of that fine estate known as THURLBY DOMAIN, situate within an easy distance of Queenstown and Arrowlovvn, and in close proximity to three Flout- Mills. The whole has been Surveyed and Suh-divided by Messrs. Reid and Duncaus into THIRTEEN LOTS, varying in extent, and all being more or -t • loss, fenced. lv Besides, the beautiful HOUSE AND GROUNDS on Lot 7, — Formerly the residence .of Mr. B. Hallbjt- • Stein. Lots 1, T, and 9 have each a COTTAGE AND GARDEN on them, and on Lot 6 are the substantial STONE STABLES, SHED, BYRE AND COTTAGE. The whole property, comprising . 1,500 acres, Is well known to be one of the choicest in New Zealand. With 'the exception of about 100 acres, the whole can be ploughed by a Double-furrow Plough, and as the Proprietors have never allowed more than about 400 acres to be cultivated for Grain in one season—the rest being laid down in English grass—the land is in good heart, and intending purchasers can rely upon getting at once good crops. The average yield is unsurpassed in New Zealand, and the Grain produced in the -.district has always commanded top prices in both Provincial and London markets.- Wakatipu Barley is eagerly bought up by Dunedin Orewers, and the Wheat, owing to the sublime climate of the Lakes, has fetched the Highest Price in London of any in the world. Attention is also drawn to the growing importance of the neighboring Macetown reefs, which, as they get more opened, will employ a very large consuming population, enhancing the value of everything that can be pioduced on a farm. The TERMS OF PAYMENT fixed by the Proprietors are a convincing proof of their estimate of the values and capabilities of the farms. Only one fifth cash, and the balance on mortgage at 7- per. cent.; onefifth repayable in eighteen months ; and the remaining three-fifths for a term of five years. Never before has such a good opportunity been offered to those who intend to settle on the land, and acquire a homo in one of the most beautiful and healthy districts of New Zealand, which, as the population increases, will give a special value to this land and double and treble its present value. Intending buyers are requested to pay a visit to Thurbly Domain, where Mr Arndt will be glad to give every Information. Persons from Dunedin con go through by rail and steamer in one day to Queenstown. Plans and conditions of sale may be seen and can be had at the office of the Auc tioneers, F. H.
