DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

A MEETING of the members of the Dunstan •Jockey 01 uh wag held at the Port Phillip Hotel, on Monday the 13th, at 9 p.m. Mr. R St»wart in the choir. The report rff the deputation re the amalgamation of the Alexandra and Dim-dan Clubs was read and considered. Mr. Jeffery, on behalf of the deputation, stated that the Alexandra Chib did not view the amalga motion favourably. Resolved : That the old Dunstan Jockey scrub be resuscitate 1 and he known as the Dunstan Racing Club. Membership fee, ‘Sis. Twenty gentlemen in the room entered their names as memoers of the now Club. Resolved That a summer meeting take place under the auspices of the Club on the ■4th and sth January next, and that the amount of stakes run for be £l5O The secretary be instructed to have a preliminary notice of same inserted in the Dunstan Times of the 17th inat., and Uromwell Ar<jus of the 'Osh inst Resolved : That Messrs. Stewart, Jeffery, and T. Mackay canvass T-.r members to the in-w Club. Resolved : That the action taken by the Cromwell' Jockey Club re the disqualification of Mr. Werner and his horse Darkie, also of the rider, Richardson, in |tho recent Tacea on the Cromwell Jockey Club Course he endorsed by this Club, and the Secretary be instructed to intimate same.
