The doctors are still undecided whether the case of sickness on board the Gunga is smallpox or not. She will, however, bo detained in quarantine for several days. Sir Arthur Gordon, with the other passengers and the cow of the s.s. Gang a, have been removed bom the vessel to the 'Quarantine-station ashore' Sir A. Gordon’s attendant, who is believed to be suffering from small-pox, has been isolated at Little Ray sanatorium, and is now under the care of Dr. Bailey. The ship has been fumigated and pratique granted. The ship Eden Holme, from London (May -30 th), arrived in Adelaide on August 28 with the crew of the ship Dunselot (sic), who were rescued as that vessel was sinking. Quarantine has been ordered of vessels from the Cape, owing to an outbreak of smallpox there.
