Sir, —ln looking over the flies of some of your contemporaries I observe the price of bread is considerably more reasanahle in the neighbouring districts, viz.:—Lawrence. sd; Roxburgh, C l ; Naseby, 81 ; Cromwell and Bannockburn. 8 I ; while here the price charged is 01 per 411,. loaf. Surely our local knight of the trough isableto compete with his neighbours and supply this very needful commodity at a price to suit the times. I am, etc., Doughboy.
