Distance, one mile and a half Of 10 so vs ; Entrance, 13s. Distance, one mile; weight for age. Open to all horses that have never won public money. District Handicap Of 20 sovs ; nominations, 15s, acceptances, 20s. Distance, one mile and a quarter. Of 25 sovs ; entrance, 30s ; weight for age. Distance, one mile and a half. The winner to be soldjfwith his engagements) by public auction immediately after the race, and any surplus to go to the Race Fund. Winner to be sold for £3O. If entered to be sold for £25, allowed 7ft ; for £2O, allowed I4ft ; for £ls, allowed 21ft ; for £lO, allowed 28ft ; for £5 allowed 35ft. Consolation Handicap. Of sovs; entrance, Distance, one mile and a half. Of sovs. The rider of the winning horse to be presented with a whip, rider of second horse a pair of spurs. Nominations for the Alexandra Handicap and the District Handicap must be received by the Secretary before tj p.m. on Thursday September 5. Weights will be published in the Central Leader and Ddnstan Times on the 7th and Bth September. Acceptances for the Handicaps to be sent in before 6 p.m, on the night of general entry, Thmsday, Sepember 21, Entries for the Maiden Plate and the Alexandra Plate to be sent in at the same time. No person allowed to nominate a horse for either, of the handicaps unless he be a subscriber of not less than one guinea to the Race Fund. Three horses to start or no race. J. Butler. Maiden Plate. No entries will be received for any of the , above races except on the following conditions r—That all disputes arising out of the races shall be decided by the stewards, and their decision shall be linal.
