VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL.

The fifth meeting (ordinary) of the above 'Council was summoned for Wednesday, March 22. at‘2 p.m. toconsider the following motions Notices of Motion. 1 Cr. ColcWgli’to move—That the amount of line paid by Mr Willitott fin his late suit against the (’ouncib) to enable him to prove his contract be repaid to him by the Council. 2. Cr Ooklongh to move—That a sum not exceeding £IS lie devoted to k the erection of a foot bridge over the 1 Bendigo Creek at the site of the old mill to enable children to attend the school. 3. 'Cr. Colclough to move—That steps betaken by the Council to have i.H thefences across surveyed roads on the C’otnwell Commonage removed that license holders may have free ■access to the whole Commonage. 4. Cr. Mackellarto move—That the Engineer be authorised to expend the sum of £250 on the road Upper Nevis to tho Bush. Adjourned Motions. 1. Cr Macginnis to move—That the sum of T3O beveled forextending road (rom Tnapeka Connty bouudaiy to head of Eraser River. 2. Cr Jolly to move—That the Engineer he empowered to expend a urn rot exceeding £2O in' forming

and extending the surveyed road' at the head of the Lowbum fur a distance of about half a-mile.

3. Or Jolly to the Engineer bo be authorized to put in repair the chair crossing the Kawavan River, at the Gorge, at a cost not to exceed L 5.

At 2.40 there being no Councillors present the meeting lapsed
