CLYDE SCHOOL.
A meeting of the Committee was held in the Committee room, Town Hall, on Monday evening the 13th inst.
PresentG. Clark (in the chair), Atb field, Jeffery, and G. Fache.
The minutes of thejprevious meeting were read and confimed.
Resolved—That Mr G, Fache he appointed standing Chairman of Committee for current year.
Resolved— That Mr Jeffury be appointed Secretary and Treasurer.
Resolved —That Meetings of Committee bo held on tho last Friday each month at 8 p.m Resol veil--That the Chairman and Secretary bo authorized to sign all cheques. Resolved—That a Visiting Committee be appointed two-monthly ; aitd (that the Chairman and Mr Attlield bo the said Committee for the months of March and April. Resolved—That tho outbuilding bo disposed of to Major Koddoll for tho sum of £2 5s Cd.
A letter from Mr John Holloway, contractor for stone-wall round sehool grounds, stating that work was completed and asking payment was read arid reteived. Resolved—That he be paid a sum not exceeding £2n on account. Resolved—That tho Secretary write to the Education Board, Dunedin, informing them of completing of Sehool fence and asking for payment of Board’s due. The Chairman was requested, when in Dunedin, to wait on Education Board, with Mr Pyke to represent the position of tho school and asking for assistance. The meeting then adjourned.
