DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
A special meeting of the subscribers of the Uunstan District hospital was held in the committee room of the Town Hall on Monday evening last, at 7‘30 p.m. ; about 20 persons were present. Mr J. E. Stevens, Vice President, was elected to the Chair, and said the object of the meeting was to elect Honorary Surgeons and Auditors, the omission having been made at the late annual meeting. Resolved -That Drs. Stackpole of Crom well and Hyde of Blacks be appointed Honorary Surgeons.
Proposed by Mr Parks—That a cordial and hearty vote of thanks be accorded to Dr. Stackpole of Cromwell for his services rendered during the past years and that the Seeretaiy convey same by letter. Seconded by Mr Dickie and carried. Resolved—That Messrs Jeffery and Ileney he appointed auditors for the ensuing year. The meeting then closed. The usual monthly meeting of the committee of management was hold at the close of the above meeting. Present ; Messrs Stevens, Vice President, Holt, Attfield, Sims, Crawford, Cambridge, Clark, Dickie, and G. Fache, Secretary. In consequence of some returns not being completed the meeting was adjourned till Monday the 13th instant, at 8. p.m.
